How a project runs.

Five stages, from the first conversation to software in production. You always know which stage the work is at and what comes next.

  1. Stage 1: Discovery and Planning

We learn about your business, users, requirements and objectives before defining the project scope.

We talk through what you want to achieve, who will use the software and what already exists. The output is a written scope: what will be built, what will not, and the order of work.

    What you receive

    • Requirements summary
    • Project scope
    • Quotation and plan
  2. Stage 2: UI/UX Design and Prototyping

We create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and a consistent visual design system.

Before code is written you see how the product will look and flow. Changing a prototype is quick, so this is where we test ideas and settle the details.

    What you receive

    • User journeys
    • Wireframes and prototype
    • Visual design system
  3. Stage 3: Software Development

We build the frontend, backend and database based on the approved scope.

Work proceeds in stages you can review. You see working software early and regularly, not only at the end.

    What you receive

    • Working builds for review
    • Source code
    • Progress updates
  4. Stage 4: Integration and Quality Assurance

We connect required services and test functionality, responsiveness, permissions and error handling.

Third-party services are integrated and tested against their sandbox environments where available. We check the product across devices and against the agreed scope.

    What you receive

    • Integrated services
    • Test results
    • Issues resolved
  5. Stage 5: Deployment and Support

We prepare the software for launch and provide maintenance under the agreed service arrangement.

We deploy to your hosting environment, hand over documentation and access, and continue with maintenance and improvements as agreed.

    What you receive

    • Live deployment
    • Handover documentation
    • Maintenance arrangement

What to expect from us

Estimates come after discovery, not before.

We do not promise delivery dates or specific integrations until we have reviewed your requirements and, where relevant, the third-party provider's documentation. Once the scope is agreed, we plan against it and keep you informed as the work moves.

Maintenance after launch is provided under a service arrangement agreed with you, so the level of support is clear on both sides.

Discovery starts with a description of what you want to build. Send it through and we will take it from there.
